Episcopal Palace

Set in the medieval village of Alet les Bains, between the Aude river and the ruins of the Abbey, the Old Episcopal Palace welcomes you from April to October. These 12th century abbey buildings were transformed in the 14 th Century and then again in the 18th century. Take the time to stroll through the magnificent private park with hundred-year-old trees, to sit on the terrace of the Palace and enjoy a drink or an ice cream. For 3 generations, the restaurant has been open every day and offers traditional French cuisine. The Hostellerie de l’Evêché caters to family meals (weddings, christenings, first communions) or large group events in beautiful and spacious private rooms filled with history (banquets, conferences, seminars, shows) including the Synod room which is 100m2 and boasts 5 meter high ceilings. The Hostellerie de l’Evêché offers pleasant rooms with private bathrooms, where you can relax and enjoy a well-earned rest in a peaceful and charming setting.
